The Magma Items mod for the latest patch of Minecraft is one of the simplest yet effective mods that I have ever downloaded. It adds in a new armour type and weapon type, including all of the materials that you need to create them. This mod was created by the developer CobeX7897 and is available not only for client but also for servers, so you can play this mod with your friends.

How to use the Magma Items Mod:

There is no real way to use the Magma Items Mod you first of all need to download it with Minecraft Forge and then you can load up your latest save game. When loading all of the mods features should be automatically enabled.

Key Features of the Magma Items Mod:

  • The power of the undead boils hot. Using a Nether Star surrounded by four emeralds, six Infused Gems are produced.
  • Using the heat of lava, the intensity of the Infused Gem is increased tenfold. Obsidian is melted into the gem to make it stiff and unbreakable. Surrounding an Infused Gem with four Lava Buckets and four Obsidian will yeild a Magma Gem.
  • Every sword needs a hilt. Before crafting a Magma Sword, a suitable hilt is required. Craft one using four Iron Ingots, two Blaze Powder and a Magma Gem at it’s pommel.
  • The magma sword is a more than slightly OP sword that is created using two Magma Gems and a Magma Hilt. Lava is placed on the ground wherever it is right-clicked. Adds +64 Attack Damage.
  • Using the heat of Magma Gems, extremely efficient tools can be crafted. Craft as you would normal tools, but replace sticks with iron, diamonds with Magma Gems and add a touch of Blaze Powder to finish off.
